長大了的北極猴

1) Alex Turner和Jamie Cook的結他技術都是自學回來的。
對於當時什麼都彈的一榻糊塗的我...簡直覺得他們是超人。

中四那年迷上了這班來自Sheffield的小子，那時他們平均年齡還不到二十歲。喜歡他們那時年少輕狂又有才華，那種氣息總是毫無掩飾地反映在他們的音樂上。不要告訴我他們的歌詞無聊沒深度，重點是在於他們catchy的melody和編曲呀...我短暫人生最黑暗的時期就是他們的音樂陪我渡過，有新碟出，沒理由不聽聽吧.

Humbug第一首plug的是crying lightning, 是那種一聽就知是arctic monkeys 的東西，旋律十分catchy，比以往多了一點黑暗的味道。一看mtv, 簡直就是那種氣氛
再聽其他tracks發現昔日那總有點'串串貢'的猴子都長大了，風格比以前dark了，跟以往比較甚至有點subtle

hmmm 還是較喜歡以往的Arctic Monkeys


2) 九龍站地盤平台墜樓6死傷

事發時，我身在距離地盤工三百米左右的商場，心裡盤想著好想收工時間快點過就好。
一切都那麼近。

回到家看新聞，看見其中一位死者的遺孀帶著兩位小朋友到醫院認屍。
六時十二分，新聞播放消防署局長宣佈已找出第六名傷者位置，但還未能救出。
God bless him.

從鰂魚涌到中環地鐵不過是十五分鐘的路程，換上電車卻要三十分鐘。可那三十分鐘我很享受。等著電車慢慢穿梭街道，看著街上的人，感覺很奇妙。怎麼一種歷史超過一百年，總是慢慢走的交通工具在香港這個什麼都趕趕趕的社會還能生存至今 ?? 它們好像都在不急不忙的看著人們團團轉，好神奇。 坐在電車上即使是盛暑也可乘涼風，感覺很好

不知時日尚有多少，唯有把握時間盡可能感受更多。

1) 途上一件小事，今早心情很好，以後每個上學天都這樣就好了。

2) 忘了 9月10月GG 出Season 3, 尚有 Taking Woodstock, 500 Days of Summer 和 Jennifer's Body 上畫，不到戲院看不可，直是 triple 找死。

3) 一直很愛看The Sartorialist。愛的當然不只是其中的 fashion elements，近幾天更給我不少驚喜，首先是 29 aug 的 ab fab, 雖然不是他的作品，但十分inspiring.

然後是這個
"It goes to show that you should never give up the dream, but also don't be so narrow in your vision as not to see where your real talents lie."

看到了 career上的 possibilities，我仍不會放棄這一條路。


4) 數據極不理想，但我信我可以。這些年來，想要的我一定要得到 － 現在的工作，以往的成績。

智慧齒的發炎也許是暑假積累壓力的結果。

一向都很喜歡看super hero片，第 z 次看spiderman 還很喜歡...除了因為 mary jane就是因為 peter, 這人真的很有趣 (!!)
這年的 watchmen 近三個小時的片長，能令我一氣呵成看完真的很不錯，片頭由 bob dylan 的 The Times They Are A-Changin 開始，是超級英雄興起到沒落的故事，到越戰 protester 的那一個鏡我已崩潰，這電影破了我的記錄未入戲已令我哭的停不下來。很喜歡 Rorschach 和 Dr. Manhattan，Rorschach 這個角色寫得超級好。但十分可惜一發展到原來成件事是要美國佬打救地球...整個故事爛了，too bad。


















When Harry Met Sally...是一個驚喜，本想這類愛情片應該很無聊...加上土得要命的 poster 真的期望不大。怎知一看就停不了。明明有半部入了 Ipod 打算去 gym 看也決定看到半夜最多明早不去gym。又多了一部看完要再看年年聖誕要播一播的好東西。

其實我是貧窮神

一、

早上我突然 十分自大地覺得自己是打工皇后!! 哈哈哈哈
三年來工作的時數一定比三年加起來溫書的時間多
三年來經歷過90多萬次interview也reject了70多萬次offer
最終留下，是因為我大部分時間都真心地喜歡在這裡工作
不久的將來要離開...唉又真心的捨不得

差點出不了門口...由我家行去TY地鐵站要45分鐘呀
再看看窗外在發光發熱的太陽... arghhhhhhhhh

獨力航海環繞世界 加州17歲少年返家

（法新社洛杉磯 16日電） 一名獨自航海環繞世界的加州少年，今天結束旅途，平安返家，成為獨力完成這項壯舉最年輕的人。

17歲的孫德蘭（Zac Sunderland）結束旅程，踏上土地，接受家人和朋友迎接，他說：「這13個月來很瘋狂...最後回來這裡真棒。」

孫德蘭去年6月14日從馬瑞納德瑞港（Marina Del Rey）出發，當時他才16歲。他登上36英尺長的小船「無畏號」（Intrepid），揚帆朝西方航行。

去年11月29日，他在南非好望角（Cape of GoodHope）外海慶祝17歲生日。

現在孫德蘭希望出書，描寫他的冒險旅程，期望激發年輕人找到生命動力。

他說：「這個社會讓15歲到18歲的年輕人彷彿困在箱子裡，沒有人期望做大事。他們大概就希望上高中、打打美式足球，差不多就這樣。」

「生命中只要有正確的動機和正確的抱負，人們能做的就有許多可能... 我所做的就是步出戶外、挑戰困難。追求你所要的吧！」

根據美國航海協會（American Sailing Association），過去13個月長達5萬1860公里航程中，孫德蘭歷經避開大型貨輪、情緒低潮，並因設備故障而狼狽靠岸。

Teen becomes youngest to sail solo around world

(CNN) -- A Southern California teenager has serious bragging rights: After docking back in his home state late Thursday morning, Zac Sunderland, 17, can claim to be the youngest person to sail around the world alone.

The hardest part of a solo voyage is always being tired, Zac Sunderland says.

Sunderland was greeted with thunderous applause and congratulations as he arrived at Marina del Rey in his 36-foot sailboat.

"It's kind of crazy to have it done now because, I mean, for the past year I've been just fighting for the next ocean, fighting to get back. And now I'm back so it's amazing," he said.

The teen acknowledged the 27,500-mile voyage wasn't easy. He told CNN that pirates off the coast of Indonesia gave him quite a scare.

"[I] had a boat circle in and ended up calling in the coast watch and they chased them off but, yeah, [I] lucked out there! About an hour and a half of hell."

Severe storms also were a problem, he said.

Sunderland's Web site says he bought the boat with his own money.

年輕根本就該輕狂。要玩樂，要 ' experience different things '。可惜我們經歷過的不過是一次又一次的考試，從末有時間和膽量去冒險。哪會有人這樣去體驗人生 ? 從來覺得人生苦短, 只覺得時間太少，力量太薄弱。生於香港，更覺難以有所成就。身邊人都急功近利，最在乎的不過是上哪間大學，能賺多少錢。
